Ripe fruit, clean acidity, robust alcohol and silky tannins combine to make this a wine of considerable complexity and elegance. It has very clear Pinot character with spice and cedary complexity from maturation in French oak barrels, and is elegant, soft and very easy to drink.

The fruit for this wine was 100% organically grown at our Frogmore Creek Vineyard, located at Penna in South-eastern Tasmania.

Colour: Deep ruby red.

Bouquet: Intense cherry and gamey notes from the fruit, with spiciness and cedary complexity from maturation in French oak barrels.

Palate: Ripe fruit, clean acidity, robust alcohol and silky tannins combine to give a wine of considerable complexity and elegance, and which will complement a wide range of foods.

Ageing potential: Ten years

Alcohol: 14.1% v/v.

Packaging: 750 mL Antique green burgundy bottles, Reference 1 corks, 12 bottles per carton.
